Gilles Gauthier is the owner since 2013. This is his story about “Bonamie”.

My sister Martine Gauthier
and her husband, my brother-in-law, Peter Gaetzi bought the hull in Mombasa in 1983, where they lived.
They worked on the boat two years until it was finished in 1985.
From 1985 until 2013 the boat was located in the Mediterranean and visited many
places in Italy, Malta, Tunisia, Turkey, France and Spain.
Since 2013 my wife and I have lived aboard “Bonamie”.
The base is Rochefort sur Mer, France (near La Rocelle) at the Atlantic coast.
